Organizer: Nomád Support Brigád
The NSB (Nomád Support Brigád) is a critical collective formed at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. In this project, we explore the possibilities of new forms of institutionalization. We are implementing a cultural occupation of public space. The currently valid law on the right of assembly allows for a particular use of public space: for three days and nights we will use Szabadság Square as a lively open-air cultural center. We are creating an inclusive cultural space: civil organizations, initiatives, and groups will be given the opportunity to present themselves for 1–2 hours. The project was prepared through knowledge-building seminar work and a series of technical workshops.
