On the photos of Viktor Kopasz the romantic beauty of natural environment confronts the reminiscences of Eastern-European history that swept over the land in this region. In his photo series the artist, who spent his childhood in Eastern Slovakia near the Ukrainian and Hungarian border, investigates the substance of his own identity by interpreting connections between natural and human shaped forms.
