What did avant-garde mean in the sixties and seventies in Hungary, and what does it mean today? The aim of the exhibition Bookmarks is to look back with today’s eyes at those artistic positions that directly or indirectly, through their influence, play a fundamental role in contemporary Hungarian art today.

Exhibiting artists: Gábor Attalai, Gábor Altorjay, Imre Bak, Miklós Erdély, Tibor Hajas, György Jovánovics, Tamás Kaszás, Ilona Keserü, Ádám Kokesch, László Lakner, Little Warsaw, Katalin Ladik, Dóra Maurer, István Nádler, Géza Perneczky, Société Realiste, Dezső Szabó, Péter Szalay, Endre Tót, Gyula Várnai et al.
