Rebels

At the time of the political changes of 1989–90, revolutionary events took place in the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. The students began a series of demonstrations to protest against the academic teaching ethos and socialist state structure of the institution. The students’ initiatives have served as a model for the greater changes in the political system of the country. In the framework of the project Rebels, artist duo Little Warsaw presents this research in the form of a photo-comic book and a new installation.
