The Creative Exercises<\/em> (led by Mikl\u00f3s Erd\u00e9ly and D\u00f3ra Maurer, with the assistance of Gy\u00f6rgy Gal\u00e1ntai), held in 1975, 1976 and 1977 in the Ganz-M\u00c1VAG Cultural Centre (Ganz-M\u00c1VAG Kultur\u00e1lis K\u00f6zpont), and the drawing courses that were also held here by D\u00f3ra Maurer constituted significant developments in alternative artistic instruction in Hungary, the eects of which may still be discernible today. The courses, which were entitled \u201cCreativity and Visuality,\u201d were presented in the summer of 1976 in the J\u00f3zsefv\u00e1ros Exhibition Hall (J\u00f3zsefv\u00e1rosi Ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00f3terem), where, for the length of the Exhibition, creative activities were organized under the guidance of the leaders of the Exercises<\/em>, as well as members of the New Music Studio (\u00daj Zenei St\u00fadi\u00f3).<\/span><\/p>\n
