– Vario –

The multi-roomed apartment towering above the former Moszkva tér will be rearranged in overlapping installations. The objects and furniture left behind by previous generations are linked to the studio work materials. The "ingredients" are emphasized: the rest of the not yet built in materials and the traces of work.

The studio is a space, which we do not access in everyday life. It is a subordinate area for unfinished thoughts and for the freedom of apostasy. As an inclusion it retains traces of the creative energies that are often in the background remaining unseen, but in the race-based structures are essential for survival.

The multi-room apartment towering above the former Moszkva tér will be rearranged in overlapping installations. The objects and furniture left behind by previous generations are linked to the studio work materials in a complicated anthropological formula. The "ingredients" are emphasized: the rest of the not yet built in materials and the traces of work.

Two people work together in this interaction, and document the process. The documents showing possible alternatives to the established state are incorporated in the installation. A combination of furniture, objects, videos, smoke and light sources are placed in space. In the chain of events, improvised musical performances and visual experiments are shown outside of the artistic context.

Vario reveals the "this is us, this is how we live now” situation, showing the ever-changing state we generated: personal space is made public, autonomy has been moved and its narrative has been paraphrased in order to achieve an open and reflexive state that can be interpreted in many ways.
