During the Klorofill event, the audience will have the opportunity to get a glimpse of New York’s contemporary art scene. Júlia Vécsei’s New York Spot zine [A2] will be displayed and writer Annie Fischer will talk to art historian Kelly Cannon about independent bookstores and art spaces. Music will be provided by Johnny Drama and Dj Suhaid. The discussion will be in English.

During the Klorofill event, Júlia Vécsei’s New York Spot zine [A3] will be displayed, which she created in the last year of her art scholarship in New York. The project maps New York bookstores and the contemporary art scene. The publication concentrates on showing independent, artist-run spaces and non-profit organizations. The first Spot was published in 2008 by Klorofill and focused on the Prague–Contemporary Czech Art Scene. Every publication has a subjective tone. At the event all previous Klorofill publications – zines and postcard sets – will be available. Music will be provided by Johnny Drama and Dj Suhaid.
